GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING THE SAFETY ENHANCEMENT TEAM (TAS), BASED ON THE PROACTIVE SECURITY APPROACH
- Develop the analysis and actions as recommended in the Risk Management and Tragedy Prevention Course (Major, Fatal and Serious Accidents), through the Proactive Safety Approach, reports in the continuation of this post.
STEPS TO IMPLEMENT THE TAS
Step 1 – Setting:
Initial training, first meeting – 1 day, time 2 hours;
Completion of the Registration Form;
Reading the course material, links are in the registration form and complementary materials depending on the scope and demands requested.
Step 2 – Setting, continued:
Initial training, second meeting – 1 day, time 2 hours.
(Minimum suggested time of 2 weeks between step 1 and 2)
Step 3 - Initial diagnosis:
Formation of Multidisciplinary Working Groups
Visit to selected activities sites;
Number of meetings depends on demand, scope and selected issues.
Step 4 - Validation:
A 1 hour meeting.
Step 5 – Presentation of the Action Plan:
Action plan for identified demands;
A 1 hour meeting.

Through the process of studying and applying the Proactive Safety Risks and Emergencies Methodology (MeSPRE), the MeSPRE Initial and Advanced Training Certificates are obtained.
Initial Training is developed through a mentoring process of meetings and studies, of the 4 proposed modules (see link at the end of this post), and allows you to start understanding MeSPRE.
Advanced Training is obtained with mentoring and application of MeSPRE in an organization, company, activity and service, through a mentoring and evaluation process; this Advanced Training will enable you to be a qualified multiplier, and apply this methodology in organizations and companies.
